A major Italian bank needed to build a new leadership team in the Middle East.
A major international bank was referred by InterSearch Italy to our Abu Dhabi office after the institution decided to apply for its full banking license in the United Arab Emirates.
- Upon registering with Abu Dhabi Global Market, the bank was instructed to hire senior leaders to comply with regulatory requirements.
- InterSearch was engaged to recruit 3 senior leaders from the region with UAE experience.
- InterSearch conducted over 15 interviews and assessments for each role before shortlisting candidates for the three positions.
- The biggest challenge was attracting candidates to join what was essentially a “start-up” operation in the region, despite being part of a large European financial institution.
Utilizing our global financial services expertise and local market knowledge, our international client was extremely satisfied with the results of this critical project. We successfully established an entire leadership team to support the Italian team that had been transferred to the UAE.
